Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Sunday May 7, 2017 in her 98th year. Emily, predeceased by her husband David and her daughter Susan (Henry) Bisschop, will be sadly missed by her daughter Joan (Ron) Asselin, by her son David (Mary-Sue), and by her grandchildren Chantalle, Rene, and Kaitlyn, and by her great grandchildren Ivy and Ezra. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Monday May 15, 2017 from 10 am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. Memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family if desired.
