Remembering Charles Christopher Clare 'Bucky'

(WWII Naval Veteran RCNVR, RCL Br. 34 Member, Partner in Clare Randall-Smith & Assoc. Quantity Surveyors of Toronto, Past National President of Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Past Member of American Association Cost Engineers)

Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday March 3, 2017 in his 92nd year.  Bucky, beloved husband of the late Edith (nee Richards), the late Helen (nee Purvis), and Barb Gardy  Loving father of Alan (Candis) of Florida, Nancy (Peter) Seed of Orillia, and Kevin (Theresa) of Pennsylvania.  Bucky will be lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and now great great grandchildren.  A memorial service to celebrate Bucky’s life will take place at St. Paul’s Place (corner of Coldwater St. E and Peter St.) on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 11 am.  Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 34 are asked to meet for a legion service at 10:45 am just prior to the memorial.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society and will be accepted the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
