Remembering Linda Jane Engeland

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Tuesday December 20, 2016 in her 69th year.  Linda, loving wife to Paul, will be sadly missed by her children Jennifer (Jeff) Lynch, Angela (Paul) Munro, Paul Kavanagh (Kate), by her grandchildren Adam, Morgan, Rowan, Neil, Bobby, Emma, Leah, and Hunter, by her sisters Connie Martin (Gerry) and Donna (Ted) Schneider, by her mother in law Elaine Brooks and by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.  Linda is predeceased by her son Larry Jr, her mother Rose Olimer (Nee: Dafoe), her father in law Lorne Brooks, her brothers Robert Scrimshaw, Lloyd (Inga) Scrimshaw, Marvin (Jeanette) Scrimshaw, by her sisters Ruth (John) Hazlett and Beth (Dave) Clark, by her brothers in law Larry Martin and Koos Wassenarr, and by her sister in law Leanne Kavanagh.  Her compassion will be remembered by former colleagues at the long term care facility, while her lifelong creative passion brightened her home and the lives of those around her.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday January 6, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m..  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Unite Church, 62 Peter St. N., Orillia, on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 11 o’clock.  If desired memorial donations may be made to the Couchiching Conservancy and would be appreciated by the family.
