Remembering Kenneth Harold Acheson 'Ken'

Peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Sunday May 22, 2016 at the age of 83. Ken Acheson of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Gwen Acheson. Predeceased by his daughter Cheryl. Survived by his sister Coleen and predeceased by his brother Wendell. Will be sadly missed by his companion Rhea Whalen of Oro-Medonte and by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the staff at Leacock Care Centre for their care over the last 3 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. The funeral service will be held from St. James’ Anglican Church, 58 Peter St. N., Orillia on Friday afternoon May 27, 2016 at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to St. James’ Anglican Church, Orillia, would be appreciated.
