Passed away peacefully at the Villa Care Centre in Midland on Sunday May 1, 2016 in her 96th year. Joanna, will be sadly missed by her daughter Colleen, by her niece Wendy Stocker-Jones, by her nephews Douglas and David, and by her adopted nieces Linda, Evelyn, Susan, and Heather. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Monday May 9, 2016 from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family if desired.
