Passed away at Spencer House, Orillia, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the age of 84. Richard Tanner of Orillia, beloved husband of Connie Tanner. Loving father of Linda Tanner-Carleton (Joseph predeceased), Carole Meyer (Otto), Donald Tanner and Janet Sinclair (Al). Loved by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Friday January 15, 2016 from 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday January 16, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Rd. W., Orillia, from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to First Baptist Church, Orillia, would be appreciated by the family.
