Remembering Clothilde Bruhn 'Cloyie'

Bruhn, Clothilde, Freda was welcomed into heaven by her husband of 40 years Archie and her beloved daughter Caroline on Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 at the age of 84.  Cloye was born on May 1st, 1931 to Alfred and Eunice (Mayer) Dorion in Perkinsfield, ON and was raised in the Thunder Beach area.   She was a best friend to and will be deeply missed by her children Timothy (Colleen), Wendy (John), Chloe (Gary), Bob (Jane), Brian (Lynda), Carman (Esau), Deborah (Robert), Linda (Stephen), Patricia (Tim), John (Julie), and Kristeen (Shayne).  Cherished grandma to Jeremy, Jaime, Shawn, Chad, Trevor, Gary Jr., Marc, Matthew, Jessalyn, Megan, Thomas, Michelle, Andrew, Sara, Amy, Shannon, Kim, Amanda, Josh, Andrew, Michael, Mary, Kianna, Theo, Caitlin, Megan, Lauryn.  Loving Great grandmother to 17.  She is survived by her brothers Raymond (Jean), Vernard (Anne), Bernard (Sally) and her sister Rita Lawrence, sisters-in-law Rita, Bernice and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Alfred, Alcime, Germain, and sister Ella Mae Dumais and by her husband’s siblings.  Generous with her time, love, cooking, singing, conversation and laughter, a kinder woman cannot be found.  Friends will be received at Carson Funeral Home – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705)526-6551 on Friday, November 6th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9, funeral to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 at St. Margaret’s Church, Midland.  Burial to take place immediately after service at Lakeview Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family if desired.
