Remembering Kathleen Sarah Smith (nee Settle)

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Wednesday May 6, 2015 in her 84th year.  Kathleen, loving wife to Doug, will be sadly missed by her daughter Catherine (Barry) Dafoe, by her grandchildren Michael (Katie) Cromb, Deanne (Mark) Lewis, Andrea (Steven) Gibbens, and Erin Dafoe, by her great grandchildren Brendon, Dylan, Sydney, and Liam, by her brother Art (Verna) Settle, and by many nieces and nephews.  Kathleen is predeceased by her son William (Theresa) Cromb, her brother Jim Settle and her sister Doreen (Arthur) Gray.  The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705)326-3595, on Saturday May 9, 2015 from 11 am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1 o’clock.  Eastern Star service to take place at 12:45 p.m..  If desired memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
