Remembering Jo Ann Margaret Stevenson 'Joey'

At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday April 29, 2015 in her 72nd year. Joey Stevenson of Orillia, beloved wife of 36 years to Ron Stevenson. Joey will be fondly remembered by her nephews Joel Gavin of Wisconsin and Jason Gavin (Terese) of Ohio her great nieces Julie & Lizzy. She will also be remembered by her extended family, brother-in-law Bob Stevenson (Joanne) and their children of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Al Stevenson (Sharon) and their children of Orillia and her sister-in-law Cathy Randall and her family of Moncton, New Brunswick. Joey is predeceased by her parents Robert & Dorothy Morden, sisters Lorraine Brockbank and Francis Gavin. Joey was an employee of TD Bank for over 30 years. She had a love of bowling and was a former member of the Orillia Ladies Curling Club. She had a love for life and enjoyed spending time with Ron traveling and also relaxing at their trailer at Head Lake. She will be dearly missed by Ron, her family, friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday May 4, 2015 at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations in Joey’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
