Remembering David Howard Yeigh

Died peacefully in Midland after fighting a difficult illness at home with the care and support of his much loved wife Monique (nee Boisvert).  David, born in Toronto, was the son of Mary (nee Steel) and Howard Yeigh (both deceased) and the favorite “only” brother of Susan Hollyman (Roger) and Elizabeth Reddy.  Thank you to his many wonderful friends who have supported him throughout.  Special thanks as well to Dr. Peter Cameron, Kerry Berhalter-Whalen at the North Simcoe Muskoka Community Care Access Centre and the Bayshore Visiting Nursing Team.  Never one to pass up a side bargain, a cold beer, a perfect flagstone, a prime rib dinner, a friend in need, or an opportunity to create with wood, plants or rocks.  He will be very sadly missed.  David did not want a funeral service, but rather a celebration of life which will be held later in the spring.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and will be accepted by the Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551.
