Remembering Diane McLachlan (nee Vettorel)

Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 14, 2015 in her 70th year. Diane McLachlan, beloved wife of the late Murray McLachlan, will be dearly missed by her children Lori (Robert) Pierce and Michael McLachlan, by her grandchildren Emily, Colin and Olivia, by her siblings Mary McLean (Mike), Carole Ruttan, Marlene Vettorel, Peter Vettorel, Jacqueline Vettorel (Theo Barendregt), Catherine(Barry) Vanclieaf and Anne Vettorel (Pierre LaRouche). Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Diane was a member of Probus and the Orillia Curling Club. She was a volunteer with the Orillia Literacy Council and a long time employee with Bell Canada. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia on Monday April 20, 2015 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in his 70th year. Murray, loving husband to Diane, will be dearly missed by his children Lori (Robert) Pierce and Michael McLachlan, by his grandchildren Emily, Colin and Olivia, by his brothers Allan, Harvey (Janet) and Lloyd (Barb) and by his sisters Jan (Al) Gomoll and Joyce (Jim) Best. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Murray had a long and distinguished career with Bell Canada for 39 years. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia on Monday April 20, 2015 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock.
