Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Villa Care Centre in Midland on Monday March 23, 2015 in her 94th year. Maria is predeceased by her husband Frank, and will be sadly missed by her children Mary Ann (Willi) Wilfling and John (Tammy) Lajner, by her grandchildren Tanya (Frank Holm) Wilfling, Angela (Greg) Lesperance, Justin (Rachel) Lajner, and Jessica Lajner, and by her great grandchildren Isabelle and Sebastien Lesperance. She is survived by her brothers Joze and Tone Kustec. Maria is predeceased by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She has a large extended family in Slovenia, Australia, Germany and the United States. Family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on March 27, 2015 from 5 - 8 p.m.. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 10 o’clock. Memorial donations St. Margaret’s Church would be appreciated by the family if desired.
