Remembering Arthur Edward Angus

(WWII Veteran, 7th Canadian Anti-Tank Regiment, 1939-1945, 1st Lieutenant, Served with the Italian Campaign and Holland, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #34, Orillia.) Peacefully at the Birchmere Retirement Residence on Friday, March 13, 2015 in his 99th year. Arthur Angus of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Doreen Angus. Loving father of Judy LaForge (Gary Dingwall) of Richmond Hill and Dr. Lynne Angus (Ken Ainsworth) of Toronto. Loved by his grandchildren Mark LaForge, Christine LaForge (Graham Herbert), Lauren Ainsworth, Julia Ainsworth and by his great grandchildren Michael, Josh, Todd and Olivia. Predeceased by his siblings Stephen and Isabel. Will be sadly missed by his special friend John (Eldene) McCormick. Cremation has taken place. A Legion Service will be held in the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Saturday May 2, 2015 beginning at 1 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Arthur’s life at 1:15 P.M.
