Remembering Irene May Boddy

(Member of the Canadian Club, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer) Peacefully with family by her side at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday March 4, 2015 in her 98th year. Irene Boddy of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Albert Boddy. Loving mother of Carl (Lynda), Ralph, Frank (Mary), Janis French (Jim) and Beth Grace (Kevin). Loved grandmother of Chris, Mike, Scott, Jayson, Jeffrey, Alison, Laura and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Robert Burdett. Cremation has taken place. A Private family graveside service will be held at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the doctor’s and nurse’s in the Emergency Department and Soldiers’ I for the care and compassion shown to our mom. A special thank you goes to Dr. David C. & Sheila Collins for the many years of care as well as all the staff at The Birchmere.
