Passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday November 10, 2014 in his 84th year. Howard, predeceased by his wife Jaqueline, will be sadly missed by his daughters Linda (Alvin) Sheard and Catherine (Brian) Purdy, by his grandchildren Richard, Angela, Kevin, and Amanda, by his great grandchildren Shawna, Jacob, Hailey, McKenzie, Mya, Nathan, Maddison, and Trystan, and by his brothers, Roy, and George, and sister Jean Collar and Marie Cannings. Predeceased by his children Judy and Howard and by his brothers Elmer and Clarence. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday November 13, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m.. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday November 14, 2014 at 2 p.m.. Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
