Passed peacefully at Trillium Manor in Orillia on Friday October 17, 2014 in his 73rd year. Ivan, loving husband to Leona, will be sadly missed by his children Scott (Tovah), Jeannette (Steve) Clifford, Cynthia Elliott, and Shane (Simone), by his grandchildren Steven (Courtney), Viktor, Mark, Tyler, Gregory, and Valla, by his great granddaughter Alexis, and by his brothers, sister, and many nieces and nephews. Ivan will be remembered through his years of coaching hockey, by the assistance he provided through his business Elliot TV, and by his many years as a GTA firefighter at Pearson Airport. There will be a celebration of life next summer. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Trillium Manor Palliative Care unit and will be accepted by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
