Passed peacefully at Leacock Care Centre in Orillia on Thursday September 25, 2014 in her 103rd year. Bernice, predeceased by her husband Elgin and her sons Gordon (Linda) and Arthur, will be sadly missed by her children Paul (Elizabeth), and Jean (Norman McLeod predeceased), by her grandchildren Tibbie (Charles) Anderson, Phillip (Hazel) McLeod, Mark (Susan) McLeod, Art (Karen) McLeod, Corey (Candice) Phillips, Scott Phillips, Jason (Leslie) Phillips, Barb (Bart) McLean, Bev (Butch) Rankin, and Robert Phillips, and by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday September 29, 2014 from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 o’clock. If desired memorial donations may be made to Sick Childrens Hospital or to the First Baptist Church and would be appreciated by the family.
