Passed suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital on August 16th, 2014 in her 74th year. Doreen was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and best friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Susan Marsan, son-in-law Marc Marsan and grandchildren Amanda and Brittany. She will never be forgotten by her sister Diane Wright, brother in law Bill, and her nieces and nephew Donna, Kathy and Rob, as well as, her many extended family members and friends. Doreen has touched the hearts of so many around her, she will always be a part of us. With her passing she will be greeted in heaven by her brother John Floyd, her parents Clarence and Isabel Floyd and late husband Ron Longlade. A memorial service will be held at the Lynn Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 290 First St. Midland, (705) 526-6551 on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00am. To follow will be a Celebration of life at The Royal Canadian Legion at 196 Queen St, Midland. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
