Remembering Edward Henry Markham

Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday January 12, 2010, in his 88th year. Edward, beloved husband of Blanche (nee Ingleson). Loving father of Gary, Sydney (Janet), Sylvia Kelly (Terry), Charles and Lucille Smith (Jerry) Cherished grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 16. Dear brother of Charles, Roy, Gibb and the late Grace and Clayton. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Friday from 7-9 PM and on Saturday January 16th from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 o’clock, followed by cremation. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion and would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br #34, Orillia are asked to gather for a service on Friday at 6:45 PM.
