Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday December 28, 2009, in his 84th year. Bill, beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Jose) Loving father of Barton and his wife Barbara, Derek and his wife Tanya all of Orillia and grandfather of Tyler, Derek, Colton and Samantha. Dear brother of, Dianne Harris, Audrey Abernathy Joan McGargile and the late Marjorie Cowan, Donald McLean and Ann McLean. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday December 31, 2009 from 11 AM until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 o’clock followed by cremation. Members of Equity Masonic Lodge are asked to gather for a service in the chapel at 12:45 PM. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and would be appreciated by the family.
