Remembering Kenneth "Ken" Peter Proulx

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Thursday December 17, 2009, in his 72nd year. Ken Proulx of Midland, beloved husband of Sue Proulx. Loving father of Dean & wife Claire of Midland and Keith (Carol) of Innisfil. Loved grandfather of Spencer, Paige, Austin, Sabrina, Dakota and Tanner. Survived by his sisters Betty Mistak of Toronto and Ellen Marchand of Midland. Predeceased by sisters Marie, Dorothy, Frances and Phyllis. Ken will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Sunday December 20, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held from St. Margaret’s Church, Midland on Monday morning, December 21, 2009 at 10 o’clock. Parish Prayers will be held in the Lynn Chapel on Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Spring Interment will be held at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Midland. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.A Memorial Tree will be planted by the J. H. Lynn Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes.
