Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Thursday January 27, 2005; in his 79th year. Phillip Harlos of Dalrymple, beloved husband of Eleanor (Nell) Harlos. Dear father of Phillip & wife Shirley of Lindsay, Sheran & husband Richard Simpson of Picton. Loving grandfather of Denise, Phillip, Brenna, and Jadda. Brother of Bill Harlos and Dorothy Huffman both of Saskatchewan. Phil was a WW II veteran, a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #58, Hamilton, and a member of the Wentworth Lodge #166 A.F. & A.M., and the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite. Phil retired from H.S.R. in June of 1989 and moved to Dalrymple where he became affectionately know as "Phil on the Hill". Phil will be sadly missed by all his friends and neighbours. Special thanks to Debbie, Linda, Gayle, Brenna, Jadda and all the nurses of Soldiers II. In keeping with Phils wishes cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Adoring husband, an inspiration to his sons and a friend to all, suddenly at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Saturday, January 22, 2005. Grant, in his 82nd year, beloved husband and best friend of Mary Ellen (nee Robinson) for 59 years. Loving father of Jeff and wife Barbara of Burlington, Brad and wife Lisa of Orillia and grandfather of Alexander, Angela and Brandon. Dear brother of Alice Farmar of Burlington. Grant will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Grant was a proud veteran of the RCAF, serving in W.W.II, member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Life Member of Equity Masonic Lodge, #659, A.F & A.M, G.R.C. Retired 42-yeal employee of Bell Canada. Emily Bush of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Wilfred Bush, the late Bertram Evans and the late William LaLonde. Loving mother of James & wife the late Lesseal of B.C., Jack & wife Lynda of Brechin, Kenneth & wife Gwen of Barrie, Robert of Unionville, Albert & wife Joy of Orillia, Darlene & husband David of Toronto, Thomas & wife Diane of Stouffville and predeceased by twin daughters Donna & Joyce and son Charles. Loved by many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Hazel and her brothers Arthur, Walter, Percy & Sherwood.
