Remembering Frank George Lewington

Passed away peacefully at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday March 2, 2010 in his 82nd year with his family by his side. He was employed at the Huronia Regional Centre for 35 years as a Residential Counsellor Supervisor. He retired in 1989. He added joy to the lives of his loved ones and will be sincerely missed. He leaves behind his loving wife Peggy, and his children Gail and husband Bob, Mark and wife Laurie and David and his wife Nijole. He was the proud grandfather to Emily, Alec and Laura; Breanna; Aras and Paul. He was predeceased by his son Steven who was husband to Carol and father to Jamie. Survived by his brother Barry Nickason and wife Maureen of Gravenhurst. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday from 4 – 8 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday March 6, 2010 at St. James’ Anglican Church (58 Peter Street North, Orillia) at 2 o’clock. Interment of cremated remains in the spring at St. Andrew’s – St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. At the family’s request, please make donations to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, St. James' Anglican Church or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
