Passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Monday February 22, 2010 in her 97th year. Millie, predeceased by her husband Melvin, will be sadly missed by her sons Ted Laughlin and Dalton (Chris) Howell, and by her daughters Phyllis (Terry) Jackson and Marlene (Ralph) Guliano. Mildred’s memory will be cherished by her grandchildren Andy, Lori, Bonnie, Linda, Thomas, Terry, Brandon, Rafael, and Angelo, by her great grand-children Michael, Selina, Travis, Takoda, Tianna, Joey, David, and Lia, by her brother Lloyd Woods, and by her daughter-in-law Jenna Schick. Millie is predeceased by her brothers Bill and Tom, and by her sisters Emma and Margaret. The family will Receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday February 25, 2010 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow at the Old Rectory Reception Centre. Burial at Atherley Cemetery in the spring. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
