Remembering Isabel Frances Townes • ( Nee Robson )

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Trillium Manor, Orillia on Saturday February 20, 2010, in her 91st year. Isabel Townes of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Joseph (Chet) Townes. Loving mother of Betty Lanthier, Sheila Townes Sharlene Carpino all of Orillia and Judy Courtney (nee Ferguson), granddaughter. Loved by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by great grandson Jack Cornelisse. Survived by her sister Joan Buker of Elmvale. Dear aunt to 2 nieces and 2 nephews. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Wednesday February 24, 2010 from 1 o’clock until time of funeral service at 2 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Trillium Manor or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family. Thanks to the loving staff on Ramara Unit at Trillium Manor where she has lived for the past five years. She was not only a resident, she was their friend. Also thank you to Dr. Ho for all of his care to our mother/grandmother.
